Job Summary of Seasonal Store Associate:

As a Seasonal Store Associate, you will be tasked with organizing and restocking inventory, handling customer transactions, and ensuring the store is orderly and clean. By collaborating effectively with the ALDI team and delivering exceptional customer service, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities of Seasonal Store Associate:

  • Mandatory to be able to perform tasks with or without reasonable adjustments.
  • Consistently prove proficiency in the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) expected for the role.
  • Oversees customer checkouts, performs cleaning duties, restocks shelves, and presents merchandise in an organized manner
  • Ensure top-tier customer service, assisting clients with their shopping requirements
  • Encourage collaboration with your team members and uphold clear communication with the store management team
  • Equip management with an overview of all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues for strategic decision-making
  • Assist in taking store inventory tallies following guidelines and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records
  • Ensures adherence to cash policies and protocols to minimize possible losses
  • Conforms with all approved corporate policies and processes, safeguarding the security and confidential nature of documents and data
  • Additional obligations as directed

Physical Demands of Seasonal Store Associate:

  • Ability to transfer goods from the store's receiving area to shelves and adeptness in placing products, weighing up to 45 pounds, at different heights on the shelves
  • One of the regular requirements of the role is to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and move about within the store
  • Tasked with conducting responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications of Seasonal Store Associate:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to safely and properly operate equipment, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
  • Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to stay organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner
