Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, and they are seeking a Solumina iBaseT Lead Consultant. In this role, you will provide architectural solutions, assist in building a center of excellence for iBaseT, and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes.


Responsibilities

  • Provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects
  • Provide technology consultation
  • Assist in building a COE for iBaseT and build a team
  • Assist in defining scope and sizing of work
  • Anchor Proof of Concept developments
  • Support opportunity identification and pursuit processes
  • Evangelize Infosys brand
  • Collaborate with PLM and ERP teams

Skills

  • Candidate can be located anywhere in the US. This position will require travel to project locations
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution in Mechanical / Computer Science/ Information Systems Management or related field required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • Experienced MES professional with 7+ years of experience
  • Experience working in Agile teams to develop and implement solutions for new manufacturing programs
  • At least 7+ years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in iBaseT Skills, integration with shop floor systems and ERP, PLM/other applications, and should have implemented multiple projects with role involving solution designing and architecture for Solumina iBaseT
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in defining new architecture and driving an independent project from an architectural standpoint
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in defining technology solutions for Discrete Manufacturing or defense domain to solve business/ IT problem
  • Experience in providing advanced technology advisory services
  • Understanding of market and technology trends
  • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment
  • Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts, as the role may involve combination of regular shifts and off shift support needs as they arise
  • In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to 'U.S. persons' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees
  • Experience in .NET, Java, SQL
  • Experience in Software development lifecycle, database concepts and integration design
  • Experience in Design, development, support, and deployments
  • Solution installation at site including code/package deployment, code testing and configuration
  • Building/guiding a team on Solumina iBaseT
  • Proven ability to collaborate with PLM and ERP teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on creating innovative, high-quality solutions for clients
